Awesome invention, but the way he was using it was rubbish. He should have been leaping over ravines or burning cars, not just jumping about a bit.

Is that all it does? Cool stuff and everything, but if it doesn't hover on it's own then it's hardly a helicopter. More like a futuristic pogo stick from the looks of it.

Yeah, its more of a "personal fall-slowing device" than a helicopter.

I disagree, I think it would be an excellent gliding device, if they modified it a bit you could get around pretty fast, not flying over buildings and shit, but gliding through.

I think it was primarily for saftey reasons. Would you want your personal helicopter built with your own hands to fall apart while you're jumping across a ravine? Or even jumping more than 10-15 feet?
