I discuss this with people all the time. I find it a rather intresting subject.
So, who would you want to live with?
A fit guy/gal with who is a lazy slob, and a rubbish personality.
A ugly, fat bloke/girl, who has the best personality ever.

Serious answers please, this should be fun.
 
Um... neither? Why would I have to choose between one or the other?
 
There's a third option missing - a beautiful mix of the two.

The lass i'm with now isn't going to win any supermodel competitions, but she's still gorgeous and has a lovely personality ... shes caring, honest, funny, and understanding... I wouldn't swap her for anyone.

I don't think much thought has been put in to this poll!

I'd never go out with an ugly person ... (there has to be an attraction there for anything to happen) ... and I wouldn't want to spend my life with someone with a rubbish personality... Sure you'd take this option, but it would only be for the sex... and you need more than sex if you want happiness in a relationship.
 
I guess the second one if I had to chose.
Luckly irl life, I can chose neither.
 
The first option, but a mix of both would be the best.
 
The first one. As much as we like to deny it, we as a species put a huge importance on physical appearance. If I really, honestly had to choose, I'd much rather have sex with a hot stupid girl than an intelligent eye-melting bear-hedgehog of a woman.

Though to be fair, you did say "live with", so if I didn't have to do her, I'd go with the hedgehog.

Both girls I've had serious relationships with were both Heavier.

If they're a little chubby I think it's cute. The sticklers never appeared to me.
 
Your poll is way way way too binary.

I'll take your average girl over Bubbly McSkankin Slut any day, so long as she has a friendly and open personality.

However i'll definetly take Bubbly over, as your poll describes, an "ugly, fat man/gal with the best personality ever" any day.

I'm all for personality, but fat = no. Even if you're the smartest and most caring girl in the world.
 
I just wrote out a fairly lengthy reply and then realised I don't really know what I want :D

I think I need some kind of attraction on a physical and intellectual level, although I don't have high standards by any means. If I had to chose, I'd go with the personality to live with. I've had too many close friends who've been burned by lookers with absolutely rubbish personalities who've just ****ed them over time and again, so I'd like to think I know better than that.
 
First option. That way I could cuss her out all the time and say things to her like, "You're a horrid bitch and I hate how you act, but at least you're easy on the eyes."

Also everyone who said, "where's the option for a mix of the two?" you clearly missed the point of the poll, tards. It's one or the other if you had to choose, not you wanting to get the best of both worlds. It's an ultimatum, here: ONE or the OTHER. Not a mix. I should slap the lot of you.
 
Mix of both for me, met many girls who are hot but i really fun to talk to
 
Mix of the two is a bit stupid cause it's the clear choice.

Personally I'd rather live with some one I can get on with but it wouldn't be a relationship.
 
Beautiful or not, she should not be a religious nutjob. And it helps if she's not fat.
 
Since there are only two options - and people seriously just need to pick one and shut up instead of protesting the lack of options - I'll admit to being a shallow prick and take the fit girl.

My thoughts on this poll echo Darkside's. "Mix of the two" is such an obvious and easy choice. That's why it's not in the poll. Think about it.

Jerkasaur's got a point. One of my friends ended up marrying a girl he once said about: "She looks beautiful to me now, more and more all the time, but when I first met her she wasn't even the kind of girl I'd give the time of day to."

That's happened to me on occassion too. You take an average girl and they end up looking like a supermodel when you're in a deep relationship with them.

But for the purpose of this poll I think we should think in extremes, like ethereally beautiful with a crap personality or the most awesome girl who'd gel with you like a two-piece jigsaw puzzle, but she looks like a terrible creature from the depths of the internet. And that's ugly.
 
What I do is, I stab my eyes out and take the personality chick. Then it's allll good.
 
I gotta go with the personality. Conversation is the heart of a relationship IMO
 
Well, I guess I'm lucky. My girl is athletic, her chest isn't bad either and has a great personality.

My missus may not be the most attractive girl i've ever met, but she grows more beautiful all the time and she has a great personality so i am well happy at the moment =]

If i had to choose...probably fit/no personality. I'd just go off find myself a girl who looks good and has a good personality and cheat with her :O
