Anyone like them? I've been listening to them, pretty good "chill" music. Young Folks, Amsterdam, The Chills, and Objects of My Affection are my favorite so far. They kind of have an older sound to them.

I love them... saw them at Austin City Limits last year, they were awesome. I think my favorite track is probably "Let's Call It Off", and I really like "Far Away, By My Side" off of "Falling Out".

I listened to objects of affection and liked it quite a bit, but after listening to young folks, I don't really know if I like them or not, maybe they're just that kind of band. Thing is I normally don't like that mellow of music, I mean I don't listen to heavy metal or anything, It's just their voice when I mean mellow; not bad as far as I'm concerned though.
Just out of curiosity were any of you guys a little bugged by how the tune was repeating in young folks, first it was the whistling then they used their voices to emulate the same way they were whistling? Cause that was the main factor that kind of split me on whether or not I liked them.

Hm, the first time I heard young folks i didnt like it, i liked it much later though. you wouldn't like amsterdam at all then.

I honestly think that's the problem I have with Young Folks as well, the first time I heard it I sort of liked it but didn't know what song it was, now that I know who it's by I've already heard enough of it and don't really dig it anymore.

That song is very nice. Good song to listen to on your headphones while you're just laying on your bed contemplating things before you fall asleep.

It kind of has a sad sound to it.

i've got their first album and writer's block. both good stuff, easy listening
