Well thank god at least one game seems to be harnessing the power of the xbox 360!

anyways, this game looks beautiful and it looks like I'm getting a Xbox 360 myself even though I'm more of a playstation guy.

But I'll wait until E3 before I go Xbox all the way.

I'm still not sure if I'll get PS3 or Xbox 360 IF I get any next-gen console.
 
You really have to wait untill they are both out and test each of them yourself to really decide wich one is better. Power wise, I am guessing PS3 because of CELL, cuz that is one sweet piece of hardware I might say. :)

After PGR2 it's got a big reputation to live up to, and i've always had a hunch that it would...

I think PGR3 is going to be simply amazing.
 
Thats the first Xbox 360 game that I've been impressed with.

I just looked at a couple of screens of that a few minutes ago. That is the most impressive game I've seen thus far. Ive only seen two screens do you have any videos or pics? :D

Those are the pics that I just saw. Kinda reminds me of Final Fantasy:Spirits Within.

Why the hell does Perfect Dark Zero looks as bad as it does if the new Xbox can handle the Unreal 3 engine? Someone is seriously lagging behind or Epic is way ahead of their time. :)

There is a very, very brief clip showing a giant monster lurking about. It's excellent (graphics wise), but only about two seconds long or so. I lost the link to the actual file, so give me a sec and I'll host it for you.

Cool, i'd appreciate it. It's not the one that was shown last year at Nvidia's 6800 unveiling and E3 2004 right?

Don't get too excited though. It's just a quick glimpse. Blink and you'll miss it.
 
So out of all those games, which ones are pre-rendered, and which aren't?
 
Yep boys, i can guarantee PGR3 will blow the doors off the competition. Believe me, i know ;)

The UE3 engine is also being ported to X360. Not sure if Gears of War will be on the PC. They showed off models from the game on a PC, they didn't show any game footage, just tech demos (unless there was some behind closed doors thing that never got leaked)

Many great titles that take advantage of the X360 :D And then there's those who think they get instant huge sales for simply being on a new console, and then put in graphics that could have been done for a while. :borg:
 
It's funny ... when you think of a PC game being ported to a console, you instantly think they'll have to turn down the quality settings, lower the texture res. etc.

With the Xbox360, they'll be turning the quality settings up :D

If thats what it really will look like then very nice indeed, but it's probably been spiced up. Doom3 Alpha looked better than Doom3 did...that's all i can say.
 
Well that video in the other thread looked amazing as well, but everything was too quick to see if it looked as good as it does in those screens :p

Still, absolutely amazing - all these games have really hyped me up for the 360, I really can't wait to see the PS3.
 
I don't even like racing or Xbox 360 but that looks amazing.
Edge of the boxart looks a little too light green for my liking.
 
news flash dumb dude. PGR2 has better physics then GT4!, the frequency at which the physics calculations ran on pgr2 are so much more advanced then on gt4 its not even funny, try to spin out a car on GT4, for example going over a huge curb on the nurb. with a high powered car, it wont happen, physics are shit. Instead, in pgr2, believe it or not, it was closer to reality.

i wont even mention PGR3, i know a lot more then you people ever will, and let me tell you, its going to blow your minds away ;).

Physics dont make a game :LOL: GT4 is actually good regardless of it's physics.
 
I really didn't like GT4... it wasn't actually any fun to play. Sure, it looked good and played like a uh, driving sim, but it just wasn't fun. PGR2 was fun. Plus, they made it at a reasonable pace with fantastic online play, which GT4 lacked completely.
