It doesn't matter what level she teaches. The definition of pH is basic chemistry, even unto elementary.

My chem teacher was the second smartest woman I've ever known, the first being my English teacher, whose mastery of the nuances of this beautiful tongue trumps even mine own. The chem teacher purportedly got a perfect score on the first ACT (American standardised test) she ever took.

SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT THE LETTERS pH STAND FOR. IE: SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE p WAS SHORT FOR AND THE H WAS SHORT FOR.

Unless you're saying that knowing THAT is elementary knowledge. Then I disagree, because I didn't know what it stood for until someone posted "Potential of Hydrogen" on the first page. I knew what pH WAS though.
