PHL Orange Box Preview

Yet another Orange Box preview has been thrown onto the web. Coming from Planet Half-Lifehttp://planethalflife.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Previews.Detail&id=77 this time, they have also provided us with new screenshots from both Portal and Episode Two.

The essential storyline of Episode 2, without giving away anything you don't already know, is that the Citadel being destroyed has opened up a large super-portal that must be closed to prevent wave upon wave of Combine reinforcement. Guess who picked the short straw to do that one? Actually, not you, you need only deliver the information necessary to actually close the portal - an intercepted transmission. Simple enough, right?

Well of course he's back, it has been confirmed a long time ago. The point is that we be seeing seeing him more than we did in ep1.

Which I guess is obvious, with him being back and all.
Uh. Yeah.

Anyway, only six days to go!! (Not counting what's left of today)
It's going to rock my socks of to such a degree that in a decade or so, scientist are going to find them in orbit around Uranus.

But Vortigaunts looks much slimier now. What happened to their scales?

Also what's that thing in the strider screenshot, at the bottom of the screen? Some sort of compass? Progress meter? Kinda like the "Squad following" thing in the rebellion chapters of the main game.
