Einstein was working (and never succeded ,neither modern science -and you will know why) --but at least tried - (and now a gamedeveloper finally solved :dozey: ) was to Unify all the forces of Universe ,some people suggest that he was including the force that makes life to exist and TIme traveling?.yes.. in simple words he was looking to solve the mistery of GOD in one equation :). .what no human before ever imagined it was possible to even think about it. those forces are beyond the basics of Newton laws of motion (action-reaction) of objects motion,that usually we learn in high school and first year in college and that are used in game egines. like havoks. unless the havok engine can calcule Electromagnetic energy,atoms ,light pulses,waves behavior in space ,electric fields , and the clasic laws of motion in just one beatifull equation and the forces of gravity ,even the ones inside balckholes in the space , i dont think that article could be taken seriously.. :)
if that the case ,then i dont see the annoucements in news of the last frontier in science being solved by a company dedicated to make game development. sorry folks.. havok physics rocks ,but they dont solve all the troubles of modern sciences like the article above seems to suggest.
 
Ur missing the point entirely. The point is that valve made a really great equation for physics. Now some Doctor h4x0r wants to steal it and post the shit all over the frikken place. He is pretty much saying, if its scientific it should be public knowledge.

I don't think valve are breaking new ground in the world of physics - I think they just want to protect their baby.

Equally, if they have found the holy grail of physics by some weird coincidence then they should out the knowledge, as it is of public interest.

For now it ends up as a suing contest between two parties...

I do believe the number of people who read that article and thought it was true have set in motion a chain of events which will inevitably lead to the extinction of our species.
