Don't know if this means the game is inside or there is a coupon for the game, but here is a picture of Asus' 9800pro XT, you will notice the HL2 sticker which reads:

"Half-Life 2
Free Game"

I am in the market for these cards and deals like this will definitely influence my decision.

Well... since those boxes are 3D-rendered and not actual pictures, one could object that they are... fake, indeed.

But I have any good reason to think so.

The question is: when will we see those boxes in stores?

I wouldn't be surprised if you get a hl2 cd key or something with the card that will allow you to download it via steam when it is released. Just a theory but the box appears to be the same size and shape as the other cards without hl2 in it and the game should be on multiple disks so I doubt it's in the box as well.

MoJo, my Radeon 8500 came with Half-Life 1, all they do is put the cd in a tiny slim paper cd-holder with a sticker of a cd-key on it. They won't force you to download it via Steam, Valve/ATI isn't that retarded to sell video card/game combos to broadband users only.

Found spec sheets on the new ASUS Radeon cards: http://www.clubic.com/n/n10081.html. They look a treat, but no more info on HL2, except "Hot 3D Games Bundled."

Well obviously they aren't gonna release HL2 with the 9800XT before anything else.

HL2 Delay = 9800XT delay
