I've been out of this lark for a while now, but the immenance of
HL2 has been a fabulous inspiration, and prompted me to join
this board. Anyhow i thought i'd chuck up some of my stuff and
see what peeps thought.
They range from silly-low poly to silly-high poly.
I'm looking forward to getting an SDK so i can start working on a
mod.

I so miss modelling stuff, And Cant wait for what HL2 is gonna offer us.

wow.. nice one.. If you want to join a mod group this is good reference ^^
I know a group which is looking for 1 or 2 modelers atm ^^
 
I primarily use 3dsmax for modelling
and photoshop for skins obviously

milkshape got used to compile stuff into working game models

i can use most other 3d apps but prefer max, have just got hold of XSI to see if thats any good.

In answer to High Poly's Q, i first learnt how to use max about 5 years ago, but have only only seriously played with it for about a year.
pretty much self taught, starting first of all with bryce on a mac about 7 years back.

thanx for the praise and offers, but i have my own mod to create,
if that doesnt pan out though i'd love to help out someone else:)

ps, anyone got an SDK i can have?
 
Heh, sorry to push you, but did you reply to my pm? You know the rules, "Finders keepers losers weepers!".
 
nope sorry i havent replied to any of the sh1tload of 'PM's' that landed
on my doorstep.

too busy working, scheming and shredding i'm afraid at the mo.
 
dammit.

i guess i'll just start modelling weapons untill its available.

then the pain begins.
[ counterstrike was horrible enough, now i gotta figure out HL2?]
