Cirrently I'm trying to model the MP-443 "Grach", but I don't know what to use in sens of primitives and how to transform them into the needed shapes. So, do you know any good tutorials conserning the subj?

depending on your program, there should be tutorials with it, so read them, especially if you dont know how to modify a box into a cylinder for example

I would model a weapon of sorts if i just had decent enough pics, i only ever find the gun on its side and a pic of it at an angle :( I really need something that looks down the weapon from the front cos i find it hard to visualise and get stuff in proportion

It doesn't depend on the modeling packege at all. All I need is a general idea of what shapes to use.

Can't see the problem...:E If anyone of your friends has a gun, borow it. All guns are very similar in that sens. Maybe I think so because I held so many guns in my life and have a very good idea about it. But you can allways try and remake it if you have doubts. Also, if it is a famous gun, there should many pics taken from different angles.

for a handle, use a box with say 5 sections, and then move the outer two sets of verts on either side to the edge, and scale them a bit to make it smooth, then you could cut and extrude to make the grip or bevel one of the sides. its kind of common sense ( im only saying all this cause i dont know any good gun modelling links )

You are a genius. Now tell me, into which hole do I have to shove this link?
