Play HL2? I can't even BUY it...

Anyone else experienced problems with the actual purchase of HL2 through Steam? The system tells me that my bank refuses to pay and the bank says that nobody is even trying to access my account...

Steam's support is dead silent and forums are "too busy".

Please someone tell me that they experienced the same problems and they were later resolved...

valve doesn't have customer service, all it has is forums were other geeks try to help you, usually unsucessfully.

i wish valve had customer service.

I have 2 tickets open there now (however without any response).

And I remember there was a thread in forum where payment issues were discussed, with Steam moderators making promises to look into each one of them...

if its something that deals with the bank then your problem is with your bank not valve.... i suggest you go to the bank and get it settled

Mate, the problem is that there is nothing to settle with the bank - Valve or Steam (or whoever esle processes payments on Steam) NEVER contacted my bank/CC/account! There is no actual physical request from the payment system to my bank, there is nothing to check and settle...

That is why Valve started doing the whole pre-load pre-purchase thing so they could avoid this problem....

Well, my case is really complicated... My bank canceled Visa purchases through Internet recently and I had to wait for the MasterCard. I tried buying HL2 a month ago...
