Playstation 3 = Half Life 2

Yes, it's true. I read that HL2 could be a very liable source for a new PS3 game. PS3 will most probably be out in 2006 winter, but having played HL1 on PS2 with the extras I was seriously thinking about HL2 potential on the PS3's incredible games engine.

What are your thoughts on the possibilties :E

Why release HL2 on next-gen systems? What would be the point? It's already coming out for the Xbox. Its graphics aren't going to be up to par with other release titles. Even if you do a visual overhaul, it's still going to be the same game.

i would think valve would update the gfx and textures to look similar to the lost coast gfx but that would mean almost rebuilding the whole game

All of Sony's consoles have sucked imo. Hate em completely, not only are their games pretty poor, the consoles themselves just look so god damn ugly.
