PLEASE help graphic/texture error (pics inside)

Okay, I don't know why it all of a sudden started doing this, but now whenever I run the video stress test, instead of having those 4 things spinning in the beggining as you go by them (one of them was gordon in this church looking glass) they all just say error while spinning. And, I can't play in high texture mode without some textures (mostly in dust1/2) getting all glitchy and nasty looking, especially barrells, and the floor in the ct spawn for dust 2. Although I can play with medium texture, but i still get those spinning errors in the video stress test.

I've tried right clicking css in steam, clicking properties, then clicking delete local cache, then letting it download the stuff again (took 70 mins) but the problems still persist.

My specs -
AMD 2400+ (clocked at 2 GHz, no O/C)
512 megs PC266 DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 SE 128 MB DDR

I get exactly the same thing...all of a sudden from no where i get these errors.

well i just uninstalled my omega 4.12 drivers and installed my ati catalyst 4.12 and i played dust 2 on high texture settings w/ no artifacts...but it may of just been a fluke, lol. i'll try it again in a bit to make sure im not getting the artifacts anymore. BUT, i'm still getting the spinning error logo in the video stress test.

Hi, first post here, but I have the same exact problem. I have a Nvdia FX 5700LE 256MB, P4 2.4 512 DDR.

I've been searching the net for the past 2 days straight and cant figure it out. Ive reinstalled, uninstalled, update, un-updated, every damn thing and I still cant figure out why it started doing this shit. Also, im getting horrible frame rate with this new card, i was getting 80fps with my TI4200 128MB and now im getting 50FPS with the FX 5700LE 256MB.

WHAT THE HECK GIVES? I'm running on medium and AA off, Trilinear filtering, V Sync off. I'm going nuts!

I have that error thing too. It was okay before I installed the latest ATI drivers.

I have already made a thread about this. It seems just about everyone has it now. Nvidia and Ati users. This must have happened after the last update, but doesnt seem to effect me in game

Do you also get the green tint in that area where it shows the cloaked gordon spinning, and then all of a sudden a fire starts? (its right before all the tv screens come on)

Same problem for me. Was working fine and next time I tried Video Test got the red spinning ERROR words.

all this happened to me too, but before i installed the new drivers. I downloaded them but didn't install them, but i don't think that has anything to do with it. i get the green shadows and errors where the boxes were, but no messed up textures in dust

Rollback you video card Drivers. it worked for me. :dork:
