please help, stuck in chapter Entanglement

Hey all, im just starting Entanglement, Alyx is helping me by opening doors etc,i have just crawled through a vent, killed headcrabs, and then a team of combine, that i saw coming via a monitor on the wall. I head down the passage they came from, and kill 4/5 more, this is where i get stuck.
There is a forcefield blocking my way, and i dont know what the hell to do, its driving me mad.
Anyone please help me asap!!!!!
