i know this thread is not a hl2 one, but still write, thissince no-one has answer to this:
i have a computer which supports drr 333/400 or like that. want to buy new videocard, but i found some writing about DRR. just like itsusing GDDR3 or something.

QUESTION: will it be compared on my PC. or do i need a motherboard with ddr3 slot? since i havent seen any computer which have drr3 support and FSB 800mhz.

thanks again and sorry for posting this here, but you are my last chance to change my videocard.

GDDR3 has nothing to do with DDR(2) ram, GDDR3 is a graphical memory type, DDR (DDR2 is top-of-the-line atm) is that normal ram 'short-time-memory' or something (512-1024mb is standar for new pc's). To buying a new gfx-card, all you need to know is that your motherboard supports it.

interesting... just got home..seeing that my account have been use for asking about GFX card? my cousin or my brother gonna die...
