please tell me bands of this genre..

ok, ive been asking alot of this in music forums. after hearing bands like incubus and smashing pumpkins (i just heard them days ago..THEY ARE AWESOME!!!! and one of their songs was used in the Transformers movie..) ect..i have absolutely begun to love this indie like metal genre..

if only i knew more bands from this type of music.. like heavy guitar electric, deep bases, keyboard and nice rock music kind of thing.. i really dont know how to phrase this..

so can u tell me bands of this type?

Just look at any 90's rock band, Primus, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, White Zombie

Pretty much 90s alternative. Nothing metal or indie about them.

Part of the Alternative scene I think you'll find. Incubus are more Funk/Abstract Rock (Fungus Amongus anyway) and SP are primarily Alt. Rock.

It's called Doomsday Clock, it's pretty bad, especially for a Smashing Pumpkins song

In musical ability terms, Slipknot are very good at what they do. I only really like one song from them so I wouldn't say I'm a fan, I just think they can play their instruments well.

Just my opinion which no-one will take into account anyway.
