PLESE HELP ME!

ok i was running Half Life 2 on Steam using Visa home Basic and when I kill somebody it freezes for a minute or two and then the game has shut down automaticity. Is theres a fix for this? HELP ME OUT HERE!;(

What are your specs? Are you getting any error messages?

You could try verifying the game cache files. Just go to Half-Life 2 in Steam, right click, select properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache. That usually works. If it doesn't, I haven't got a clue, sorry.

Those Suggestions dident help me, got any more ideas?

Let me tell you somthing when i play Half Life 2 couple months ago this error dident happen and now, the error appears i'm am using -dxlevel 80 command BTW so the game doesn't become slow.

Half-Life 2 was updated to the Orange Box recently, so that would explain why it worked earlier.
I think the only solution is a new graphics card.
