How about you give us more details from the PC gamer before we discuss.

Ok.....umm, for one, it says there will be a colt .45 revolver, a crossbow (YES), a glock, an MP5 (maybe theyre thinking of the MP7, or maybe those MP5k's weren't placeholders.) and that fire will spread unscripted and engulf buildings. (People were arguing about this before.) Father Gregory is actually spelled Grigory, and in the scene when the cemetary shot is from, he is with you and kicks ass with a shotgun. They also describe a new enemy that hunts in packs and is extremely fast, like a howler monkey. (the prowler perhaps? i think this site has a concept shot of it) They also imply that the strider is a machine, and not a creature.

Also, Valve is selling Source technology to the Army and the face expression technology to help children with autism.

Combine seems like the "other" group of scientists, as you never see them and the aliens fight together (cept for teh buggy vid perhaps?)

Breen seems like the PR buy for the Combine, who wants to use brute force and kill the Xen, but has to recruit people to be grunts. Combine made up of alien and human DNA.

Yeah pretty mucha recap, sorry. Interesting thing: what is Freeman's group so off about? Maybe they want to sacrifice him! jk
