Pokemon on Ice!

shiiit, back when i was ten or eleven i woke up every morning early to watch pokemon (at like six am). i pwned with the card game too.

Then all this weird shit started happening, the characters and cards changed, and I grew pubic hair. Suddenly, pokemon wasn't so awesome.

I watched the pokemon show, the only anime I could stand. But the game boy games :O uber!

I never understood how to play the game, I just had the cards and I still do. I recently got my collection appraised at about $150 but im gonna hold out a little longer before selling them

Not to mention having the gayest cartoon character since bugs bunny

What the HELL

You just called Bugs Bunny gay.

God hates you now and you are going to hell.

It's called a joke, and all the ch00bs going 'OMG POKERMAN IS TEH WURST EVAR!!!!1112' don't seem to get them.

-and as for complaining about the TV Show, it really isn't at large anymore unless you wake up early on Saturday Mornings on some obscure channel and tape your eyes to the screen.

At least the games are actually pretty good, the franchise has given it one hell of a rep. once the fad 'died', the games continue to sell like hotcakes.

There used to be a Pokemon shop near my old school run by the biggest nerd on the face of the planet, but he got rich off of kids giving him obscene amounts of money for cardboard so he shut up shop and bought a mansion.

I remember going to one of these dodgy markets that used to be open in Edinburgh, some dodgy geezers had a stall selling the shiny/golden (I can't remember what they were) rare cards. The rarer ones were going for around £20 ($40'ish) a card.

This was around the time I used to collect the cards... yes... I collected them, and I think they're still at the back of one of my drawers. My friend who's the same age as me used to collect them too, which makes it slightly less embarrassing to admit.

I was playing Pokemon Blue a lot at the time, so whatever year that game came out is the year that I collected Pokemon cards.

Ban this Pokemon Filth!

As for the anime... it was a rush job as it was anyway. Never saw it personally, but it recently got voted as the 54th greatest cartoon ever by UK audiences.

My faith in UK audience slipped a bit... still, Spirited Away was 7th, so hey :)

I watched the serie wen I was like 10

and now I dont even remenber it

and dont tell me that are still new episodes of the serie?

yes but they suck and I don't think any of the new characters are in it.

Fat Tony, the game boy games ARE uber. I've got Blue, Yellow, and Sapphire, and I recently binged on them and replayed all three (beat the elite four and all of that).

Are the cards still worth anything? I've got a shitload of them, and some of the rarest Japanese cards as well.
