I'd go with the bat. It would be best for smashing their faces in with.

crowbars seems rather... bad. Wouldn't it get stuck in their parts? and the curved head would make it difficult to pull back out again. I suppose if you hit them with the curved part, but gordon always utilizes the claw....

Aluminum bat. Lightweight, but packs a punch. Controllable, and won't get stuck in a zombie.

What if it was a magnetic zombie?
(That was somehow attracted to aluminum...)

Anyway, I voted for an aluminum baseball bat. It's aluminum, so it's lightweight. It's a baseball bat, so there's more surface area than a golf club which means that it's gonna be hard to miss your target when you are swinging as hard as you can. While a golf club would be useful for a couple of hits, I doubt that the shaft of the golf club will last very long if put to extensive use against zombies. The ohter 'best' choice would be the crowbar. It's hard hitting and the hook of the crowbar can do some serious damage. However, the hook end of the crobar can also be a risk because what would happen if the hook got caught on the skull of a zombie and you had to take time to unhook it while a horde of zombies were coming at you?

QFE. It's also quite long yet light and easy to handle (easier to handle than a crowbar anyway).

If you are talking 28 days later style zombies, or any zombies where blood/saliva contact causes infection something like a katana would be a bad idea, freshly severed arteries can squirt infected blood several metres.
A blunt impact weapon would be most effective, although it depends if the zombies are able to be knocked out.....in films most arn't.

Aluminium bat ftw \0/

I'd still go for dual M249's if I had them though :p

EDIT : So, does anyone know where Shuzer went yet?

A long spear / javelin type thing :D

Or a sharp boomerang...

Or my snowboard...
Or a sledgehammer...
Or screwdriver...
