Portable Dreamcast Dreamtrooper

That's pretty wicked, he certainly put a lot of work into it

Do want.

I miss the Dreamcast and the good old SEGA days. :(

very cool except for. ..

"and we all know that dreamcast games are very hard to find these days."

wow. . .really?

millionaire_idiot_fail.jpg

that kinda ruined the sense of awe and wonder for me. . .

but it is pretty neat.

Are dreamcast games easy to find then? Ive not seen them in any game shop for awhile now.

WANT, NAO.
I want it now.
Also found it amusing that he forgot about the tricks on the ramps but he managed to make that thing.

Also I saw the Sonic game coming from a mile away :P
I too still have my dreamcast, don't really play it anymore but hell it works!

I've still got about 20 games, 2 Dreamcasts (one is parts only), several controllers and memory cards, and I even have a VGA adapter for connecting it directly to a monitor.

I haven't used it since like 2001, but one day maybe.

I don't even have a Dreamcast and haven't seen them or any games in stores or flea markets for years now.

That shit had a couple multiplayer games with voice chat like 6 years before the PS2 did it.

I really wanted that console to stay in the game.

if you go to any shop that sells retro game they have the games in near mint condition coming out of their ears.

and i say this with complete assurance. because i live in OKLAHOMA and this is still the case, as it has been any many other states i have shopped in.

Unless you're trying to find a copy of Tech Romancer or something, you shouldnt have any problem attaining most dreamcast games these days.

im sorry but, this just frustrates me.

its like peeing on your fathers grave. Sure he's dead but it's still a lame thing to do.

"let me show you how awesome my portable dreamcast is by playing a pirated version of Sonic Adventure 2 on it!"

I agree about the pirated thing. Any one who made their own Dreamcast should have some know how on how to acquire legit games. I mean, he's announced he is on forums. Shit, I would have donated a game for him if he was on the forums here and making something like that.

There is no reason for it.

Granted, Sega isn't selling those games anymore, but just wrong.

While I haven't seen a Dreamcast game for sale in many years, anyone with internet access can find some used Dreamcast games.

My favorite game for some reason was Toy Commander, it was an awesome, fun game to play with my brother when we were little. Still have my Dreamcast; sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

The Japanese got a ton more stuff with the internet games too. especially huge on fighting games.

toy commander as a solo play experience was a bad bad time trial game.

but get 4 other people in the room.

and it transforms into a voltron of awesome.

Same thing with Dynamite Cop. . . oh the memories

He says "copied" game, not "pirated". For all we know he made a back up of a game he owns to protect the original disc from getting damaged in that open back.

i would believe that except for the part where he says "and we all know that dreamcast games are hard to find".

he doesnt mention anything about playing a copy to avoid damaging the disc.

That's pretty neat.

By luck, I managed to get a load of Dreamcast stuff for free not long ago. 3 consoles, 8 controllers and a load of other bits but only one game (that only barely works) to play on them. I need moar games.

That guy has got some talent, saw this on gametrailers yesterday.
