Now that someone has finally guessed what I was up to in my weblog, I can post here with a sort of a follow-up.

Has anyone else tried playing non-Portal maps in Portal? Which maps have you tried?

Really? Have you tried playing any 3rd party maps or one of the Source multiplayer games like Counterstrike? (not online, obviously, but with bots) Right now the only Source games I have are from The Orange Box, so I haven't had the opportunity to check yet.

For some reason the HL2 maps were left in the Portal... er... thingamijiggy, so only they're designed to work.
