These are my A-Levels - I got them early. I pretty much knocked it out of the ball park with Pride and Prejudice and Death of a Salesman. In the interest of positivity, I will also say that I did not miss a single, solitary mark on my Sociology exam. It is a truth universally acknowledged that a Samon in possession of good grades, must be in want of a suitable University degree! I am not pursuing a Literature degree, but part of me very much wanted to.
 
Live is great, just moved to a new flat with a kickass view of the entire ****ing city, and tomorrow I'm gonna go on a train trip to Central and Eastern Europe for two weeks with a friend.
 
I didn't miss a single point on any of my summer midterms.

I got a new desk chair that isnt from the garbage. (my old chair was literally from the apartment trash bin)

Good things in my life? Me and my first girlfriend are still going very strong. 10 months in 2 weeks. Also applied for my first real job ever. Didn't get in, but I applied nontheless, which is a big step for me getting over my lazy arse attitude.
Got a graphics tablet for my birthday, which is cool and I want to get into drawing more. Also song-writing, mainly parodies and the like I've been looking into more, and I did a parody of 'I'm already there - Lonestar' which I'm learning to play on the piano for potential 'gigs' in the far future.

That's about it, everything's going swimmingly. I've also been told to say I'm getting coltsfoot rock off my girlfriend as a belated birthday present. Yay! \o/
 
So Samon, the million dollar question, do you prefer Baudelaire or Rimbaud?

Yes, I did - I am afraid I am not so versed in French literature. Strictly Romanticism and Metaphysical in terms of poetry, too, with sporadic and entirely random inclusions of Larkin.
 
Stop talking about all sorts of literature except Russian literature immediately, because it is the best. Can't I get some love for the 19th century greats in here, or even the 20th century broskis like Soltzhenitsyn? Samon I can't help but feel like you would be a huge fan of Gogol and Dostoevsky.

The most fan-f***ing-tastic morning so far this year has transitioned into a very pleasant afternoon. The awesomeness actually went down a peg. I mean, I still feel the happiest I've been in months, but... whatever. I'm not complaining.
 
Have XC camp coming up in a few weeks, which is always a blast.
 
That site reminds me of something written on the bathroom stall in the mens washroom at work.

I can't remember the guys name, so we'll call him Bill

It says "Bill is gay!"

Then there is written with an arrow pointing to "Bill is gay!": "Who ever wrote this please do me a favour and stop being a little bitch, and tell Bill you said this, so he can kick your ass you little weasel" signed Bill.

Makes me laugh every time. Because nothing else is written there, thats the only thing, so it stands out alot.

EDIT: holy ****, on that site you posted I seen this - This exact thing (even with the squares missing) is on my public bulletin board at work. Except that says it's in Ohio and I'm not in Ohio.

I spent the entire weekend in my swimsuit. On Saturday night, I sat on the edge of the Intracoastal waterway to watch two fireworks displays, at the midpoint between 2 cities.
 
I haven't been in a negative mood for a while now.
 
My job is giving me a profound hatred of the common people. But it's still easy and gives me lots of money and the people I work with are cool and I get to swim around a lot and I had a cupcake today. I'm happy.
 
this woman at work keeps stopping by to say hi to me. in fact she'll stop for like 5 mins a day just about just to talk with me. i feel like an idiot but i'm pretty sure she said she was living with this other co-worker of mine who i'm kinda friends with but all i know is that her face brightens up when she sees me.

This. But my profound hatred of the common people helps me get through my job more easily, because I care less about being really really overly nice to those ****ing rude Americans who can't understand the simplest of survey questions.

Playing with a mommy cat and her three adorable kittens (foster cats are so much fun).

Going to get my wisdom teeth finally removed in a couple days (about damn time, getting all four pulled; so tired of the pressure & pain when I play my horn)

Eagerly awaiting for August; can't wait to get started with grad school.

Life is good.
 
If life was perfect or easy then it wouldn't be very interesting.

Things have been much improved for me in the last 6 months. Everything that I liked about my life, I kept; everything that I didn't like, I changed.
