Possible Easter Egg?

I activated noclip near the first dam in WaterHazard and found a large area that is off limits normally, but very complete. I found a Watermelon in a dumpster (For Lamar) and also this on the side of a warehouse:

There is no font like this anywhere else on the map, I have no idea what it could mean so I thought I should post it and see what you folks thought it was.

Wow, HL2 players scour the game for gibberish to find missing links in the story I doubt developers have a meaning to every decal they throw on a building.

Maybe that area was planned to be used for something and they changed their minds. The decal is probably just something they thought looked appropriate. Unless they have a person at valve with the initials RGW.

Also, if you use noclip in the beginning of the second chapter(forgot the name), you go just outside the map bounds and you will see a green room floating in midair, go into that room and you'll see a special person.

You know the CS maps all seem to have other areas in them outside the map boundaries, but doesn't that just increase load times? Isn't it just a waste?

They are there because the map will place a magnified version of thatever is there inside the map. Try it, just create some large creature, larger and the buildings, and run back into the map. It's pretty darn cool. The entity is even animated in real time, so if you create a strider or some other jumpy thing, you can see it jump around as a hologram 10x its size.

In the third HL2 chapter you start in the city and the citadel is very close. Go outside the map and look for a group of apartments, create a Strider there and you can go underneath a massive Strider inside the city.
