Vivendi Universal
50 Cent: Bulletproof (PS2, Xbox)
Crash Tag Team Racing (Cube, DS, PS2, Xbox)
F.E.A.R. (PC)
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (Cube, PC, PS2, Xbox)
Scarface (PC, PS2, Xbox)

Those are the current games being shown. At the e3 website, Vivendi has 3 booths. Every year they show valve software stuff at the 1200 south hall booth. As for the other 2 booths, it's for the smaller titles. Possible chance valve may just suprise us....wait and see.

Vivendi will no longer be distributing Valve games. I doubt they'll present a big Valve title under their name, or even allowed to.

I hope they don't release TF2, just so that all the wasted bandwidth on TF2 sites can finally go away

I just dont trust valve anymore and I really dont know what to think about TF2 anymore. ;(

VU will not be publishing Team Fortress 2.

Activision will probably be publishing TF2 if Valve decides to release a boxed version. I doubt they'll actually show anything on TF2 at E3 though. They'll probably show Aftermath if anything at all.

Has Valve confirmed that they have chosen another publisher? If not, it's rather presumptuous to assume that they won't sign up with VU again, but with a revised deal.

You wouldn't happen to have a press release to back that up, would you?

They've not confirmed that it's Activision, though Valve still have a current deal with Activision wherein they'll publish games from the Day of Defeat series and all future games that don't involve the Team Fortress, Counter-Strike or Half-Life brand name. Of course it remains to be seen whether or not Valve will make a further deal with Activision to publish Half-Life, CS and TF.

"VU Games will cease distribution of retail packaged versions of Valve's games" is pretty conclusive. They won't re-sign with VU.

Not posible. VU isnt part of Valve anymore.

If Activision gets to publish VALVe games I will be orgasmic. Why? I do QA for Activision.

I may be mistaken, but I vaguely recall Valve saying that they look forward to working with VU in the future, in a press release shortly after the Lawsuit was announced. Though, it's possible that I have that backwards, and it indeed may be VU who said they looked forward to working with Valve.

Well yes they did say that at the beginning. Now, time has passed, and new circumstances have arisen. VALVe doesn't want to be a part of VU anymore :)

I have heard on alot of game news sites that VU does not own the rights to HL, TF and CS etc etc trough this case, valve wone and owns all the rights, so they can decide for themselves. this does not mean they wont work with VU.IMO it would be best not to. go all out on steam i'd say, make it better, show the public that you are so confident in your system, that you are cutting all connections with retail, and go all out on steam.

but I hope they wont do that, because I am sure the majority rather buy their games at retail stores. Hope they go with activision, and lets hope EA keeps their fingers @ home lol, and hope for a smart valve that does not bite the snakes apple

Then, with all due respect, don't you have a press release to back that up? :p

So, say if Valve were going to be appearing at E3... who would they appear under, if they don't have a definate publisher?

They're showing HL2: Xbox in the Microsoft booth and previewing HL2: The Lost Coast in the "Games for Windows" booth.

Well, apparently, finding a press release isn't as easy as I wish it was. Doesn't make it any easier when it is five, maybe six, months old.

I do remember VU making that statement too WhiteBoy, that VU wants to stick with VALVe... I mean hell, HL2 will rake in long-term cash ;) Mod-scene > all

I would never want to publish Valve games after the pre-hl2 madness, what a PR nightmare. both Valve and VU did some pretty unprofessional things.

at the same booth? You'd think one would be at the ATI booth and the other at Microsoft's booth.
