it's called D_Dead on my version of Doom (the one with the big box that looked so cool before I ruined then lost it *cries*)

used on the w95 installation and one of the levels. It's also my favorite bit of music from Doom. Porn indeed *tisks*

The song is called "The Deamon's Dead" and was composed by Robert Prince.

I have all the Doom music in MP3s which I encoded myself ..

BTW, all Doom3 trolling aside, I stil think Doom had the best soundtrack than any other game.

what do they sound like on a decent midi soundcard? Best I've got around to hearing them on was an old AWE and then some old software based wavetable program

midi's no use to me, I wanted to know what they sound like on different cards that supposedly have good quality midi support. If I play a midi back on mine I'll only get the quality from mine, which is naff.

I have an SB Live! and it sounds pretty good.
