I like my local best buy, they say they have it on the shelves, and yet they don't. THEY HAVE FREAKING BF1942 ON SHELVES, idiots. I want to murder all employees in that store for being idiotic, I was pissed. I wasted an hr driving there and back....GAH! Guess tommorow I will go to ebgames that WILL be selling it.

I have £40, thats enough for one game....Battlefield 2 or Tekken 5? Damnit so hard! I've followed Tekken from the start and love it so much, and Battlefield 2 was so much fun playing with you guys online. What do i do ;(

My pre-order shipped the 20th and will arrive the 23rd. Atleast thats what it says.
 
I will get it in two weeks time, unless Im very.. very lucky.
 
Hopefully I get it today, they didn't give me a date to come and pick it up, they just said they were going to call.

seriously... i called those f*ckers yesterday and they said call back today, and so I dad and then they tall me it's not in yet, well, f*ck Best Buy, I'm going to EB Games when they get it in at 1
 
The thing is, I have a gift card for $50 to bestbuy, so I've got to spend it there. ****ers.

Atleast you don't have a $20 gift card for target, wtf does target have?
 
I wont bother getting it till i get my PC back from being repaired and my trip to Berlin with college for ten days, so i guess i will be about the 16th or so of July when i get it. So sad :(

Btw, d/l the demo on my crappy old PC:
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
512Mb RAM
GeForce FX5200

will i be able to play it?

I just bought BF2! woot
Had a 15$ gift card too (Compusa).

Problem! I'm not seeing a CD Key (DVD version). Where is it at? Maybe they just didn't get my copy a key. Might have to exchange it.
 
That's OK, I figured it out. Besides I was just posting that I got BF2! That's what this thread is about.

Woot, got mine about an hr ago, loading up first game.....yes I am slow.
 
oh snap! just went to best buy, the one that said they didn't have it, walked in and saw the CD version, then politely asked one of the employees if they had the DVD version, and after lots of looking around, he found about 30 of them, so now i've got it sitting next to me here at work, can't wait to get home and fire up this baby!

You can never count on the guys at the counter or on the phones to be correct. Either they say they don't have it but they do. Or they say they do have it and those copies are really reserved/opened/or being sent back even though they are listed in their Computer. They hardly ever actually go check the the shelf.
 
My copy is sitting on my door step. As soon as I get home, if no one has stolen it, I will move it to my counter as my computer is broken right now.
 
Gamestop are only getting their shipment "sometime" this afternoon..... patience young grasshopper, patience.... oh **** it Ima kill some gamestop employees
