Post what you see when you look through your bedroom window.

Think i'll wait and post mine tomorrow. It's hometime for the primary school just down the end of my road, so there's lots of young kids walking past my window. I'm not sure pulling up the blinds and taking photos would give off a good message right now.

Be sure to do it when the parents are watching, and try to be quick and sneaky....make them wonder ;D It's not illegal at least!

Grah, I can't imagine anything worse!

Hopefully when I'm thirtysomething I'll be living in north cornwall, and have this as my view :)

I'm a city guy. :)
But the countryside is nice too. I live in London, but work in a semi-rural area of Hertfordshire. It's a nice change.

A land of bendy buildings?
That would seriously suck man. :p

I'll take a photo when it's light tomorrow.

I think it's the angle of the photo - looking downwards. :)
Hong Kong is ****ing spectacular though, man.

What a view.

One of the more run down districts of the city, which is still beautiful in its own way...

Yeah, I grew up down in Devon... I suppose it's hard to break out of the pace of life you grew up in. I stayed in London for a week a year ago, and it was fun, but the way everything goes! It was very odd - far too fast for me, I couldn't imagine being comfortable there.

Yeah, I think it really shapes you. I mean, I live in the suburbs - really far out, so far out I walk to work (about 3 miles) and cross the Greater London/Hertfordshire boundary in the process. But it's a completely different world out there...I suppose Google maps can show us best.

I live here, just off the A410. Go northeast and you end up here in Elstree, where I work. It's only up the road, but it's a massive change.

Still, I used to spend a lot of time up in Central London (don't get much of a chance now...except for business trips and the occassional pub venture). The busy-ness isn't something that's ever bothered me, commuting by tube I'd regularly be able to just about squeeze into the carriage and have my face literally touching the door because it was so packed. After having to let two other trains go past because so many people were waiting and they were so packed.
Stayed down in the New Forest for Christmas though, and I was so head-bleedingly bored it was unreal.

I guess it would be different living in somewhere like Hong Kong or Shanghai to say, London, since you'd most likely be living hundreds of feet above street level. You'd be removed from the hustle of the city.

I live in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California, about 3-hours drive time east of San Francisco bay. The glow in the left hand side of the last picture is the central valley (Modesto or Tracy, I think). Who's got the link to the world map where everyone's locations are? I think Riomhare put it together. Here's another sunset.

Tablecat Does Not Care.

Also, why is Anakin Skywalker on your mouse pad?

i think I got with a Star Wars magazine that I subscribed to after hearing about some new Star Wars movies being made and subscribing to Star Wars INSIDER i think it was called.

This picture is what I see outside my old bedroom. Far more attractive than my new one. I am in the Forest of Dean.

Oh, and the garden below where I took this photo is not my garden. The one on the right is.

Just to be totally ironic, i also see snow now. And about 7 people having a snowball fight. The rest is just some big bushes covered in snow, white covered houses and more snow all over the place.

Is it bad that I saw Number's pic before his name, and I still knew it was numbers.

I recognize his home?!?!
