I just got 15 grenade launcher kills in one round and... nothing. I wonder if you have to blow up a bunch of stuff like the enemy's artillery or UAV station with the C4 instead of people and tanks. If that's not it, the only other thing I can think of is using the Engineer's mines.

Glirk has that award. I hope he remembers what he used to get it...

You have to get 13 kills with C4 IIRC, this award is way too much fun, and a great excuse to C4 whore infintry.

It's not about the kills, it's about the points. It's better to do your job than go and try to be rambo. Medics hold back and heal others while Support units stand on the front line and lay down cover fire, while Assault units go in for the kill.

I have yet to get ANY rewards, and I have had the game for over a week. This is pissing me off now to the point where I don't want to play it anymore. There is no possible way to get an Award or even level up to a different officer. I just can't stand this game..
I was in a server tonight PISSED off as usual so I teamkilled probably 2-3 times.. I got teamkilled about 10 times altogether.. No one was kicked/banned for teamkilling, but I was.. The game is ****ing annoying.. I really wish that $50 I spent on this game went to something more useful like a new pair of shoes.. Seriously, this game is terrible, and I cannot stand it..

I swear command badge is the hardest to get. People DO NOT listen and I can never get 40 command points.

Yay! Finally got basic command and the flight crew award. My awards page is filling out nicely. I still need medals, knife combat and explosives.

As they said in a different thread, the purple heart takes 5 kills and 20 deaths. I dont really remember how i got the meritorious ribbion, and i havent gotten the crew ribbion yet so i dont know what to tell you

How do you get the veteran awards? I have went like 75-5 in a tank before and never get anything beyond basic.
 
How many kills do you need for basic armour? I've got 86 kills in an armoured vehicle and I still haven't got it. Or is there something else I need to do?

You only need like 10..
 
Is this game good at all? I mean it seems like you all like it its just, is it 3rd person based?
Oh yeah, and where would I get it at? I know Walmart isnt gonna have it because they never have crap.

Are you sure you don't have it already? Also make sure it is on a ranked server.

The only veteran badge I have is the pistol combat one. You need like 50 pistol kills overall and 7-10 in one round. It's the same for veteran knife combat. I have no idea how to get the other veteran badges for anything else.
 
ok so i just got off a server after getting lance corporal and my infantry ribbon(i got the unlock during the round) but my stats haven't been updated, i want my weapon damnit...:(

Same, I just got corporal but it won't register with BFHQ.

Oh I got lance corporal myself, about 2 hours ago, about 1 hour ago, the stat servers were all lagging, well the ones I joined were, REALLY BAD. I am guessing servers are a bit behind seeing as I've been told 3 times I've made lance corporal... :p

Edit: its updating now.
 
Man I unlocked the g36c and I must say it rocks in strike at kirkland and small maps like that!

I got the DAO-12, finally I can dominate in 1 aspect of inf combat, cqc.
 
Well, I finally started playing as something other than a medic. It took me about an hour to get the basic: Resupply, Armor, Helicopter and Anti-tank. It's nothing amazing, but it's progress.
 
I think vehicles are time based.

I can remember in Operation Clean Sweep, my score was 4-6. I grabbed a Linebacker and went to the front flag. My score jumped to 27-6, but I never got the ribbon.
 
I got both my basic helo and basic armor badges.

Basic hellicopter, I was a gunner in an attack helo an entire round and got it after an hour or so. I was racking up kills too so i'm not sure if it was time based or not.

Basic armor, I was also racking up kills in a Stryker while capturing points behind enemy lines. Me and a little group of strykers and tanks were dominating, and all of a sudden "CONGRATS MOFO!".
 
I cannot for the life of me manage to get the knife badge. I always fall one short or just plain suck when trying to knife. On Dalian Plant I kept going to the US carrier and hunting the commander until he finally spawned on land and hid...but everybody else blasted me just as I was gonna knife them in the face.
 
Woot! Just finished getting all the badges. I have 49 knife kills...so close to veteran I can taste it.
 
Argg...I just was on a server knifing it up trying to get my veteran badge. I had 49 kills with the knife and I got 12 more in one round...no bage :( I heard it was the same as pistol combat which was above 50 kills and 7-10 in one round. Apparently not :(

EDIT: Woot! Just got the Veteran Knife Combat badge. Another round of 8 did it this time :thumbs:

I got the transport, helicopter, armor, and spec ops basics now.

The Helicopter Service Ribbon and the Staff Officer Ribbon continue to evade me.

Either Blackhawk minigun kills don't count or I got hosed...because I got 36 kills in one round with it...nothing...nada...no award.
