hmmm, is it just me, or do these desktop threads always show up around the same time of day? i have a theory, my theory is very simple. it is a theory that these threads show up at the same time of day... every 3 weeks. it's not a bad thing, it's just interesting.

the only reason i'm not poking fun at you for using a mac is because that avatar is just so damn cool, the awesomeness of the avatar outweights the sadistic computer you happen to be using. therefore. bonzai!

I'm always wary of customising cos i don't know any code to fix any problems
i used astonshell once and my computer speed dropped like a rock, things went missing and the theme was very rigid and inflexible

Well that patch doesn't use any resources.
 
Ive got this patch thing downloaded, the dll is on my computer.. but I cant figer out how to get any of the styles to run, most say I need stylexp or do somthing weird with the dll file.
 
You got the wrong visual styles ritz...style xp is different then the ux patch.

Did you reboot your comp?
 
Nevermind, I was doing somthing wrong, works now.
 
Damn if I only had my desktop computer right now... ;(

I had a shitload of styles.
 
I use StyleXP, the only thing it does annoying is i've got a screen that changes the Windows XP logo with a Pirate head and it says "Windows Pirated Edition" instead of "Windows Professional" lol :p but it gives me a choice of boot options between the two now and it have to press Enter to get past it or wait for 30seconds where as it used to just seemingly load up without any waiting/pressing buttons, i can live with it though.
