I use dexpot, so I have 3 desktops right now.

multitasking, I have a separate taskbar for each desktop, so it doesn't clutter it up. Its like tabbed browsing. I took all of those screenshots within 30 seconds of each other, paint and the internet stayed on one, but I don't know why steam doesn't work like everything else. Anyways, I have it set to switch to the next desktop when i hover at the edge of the screen, so it acts almost like having more than one monitor. I can have up to 10 maximized applications running at the same time and I can switch quickly between them all.
