i used the FAKEFACTORY Hires Texturepack + bloom mod for some of the screens. They are downsampled from 1920x1080 to 1280x720.

to run the game at a high frame rate...

2255 you're using R8HDRBloom mod right? what bloom level are you using? Is it 1 or 0.90? And at what mat_r8bloomgamma level?

His specs should be good enough to last until end of next year so theres no use upgrading now. Im running on a XP2600 2.14 GHz with a 256MB 9600XT and 768MB RAM. Thats way lower than his and i can already run HL2 and CS:S maxed out.
