gedster, I think your system is lagging somewhere. That system should fly. Your a good 15fps down on me (with a lowly p4 3ghz). You got much running in the background? Whats your memory usage like?

I've only just managed to get my startup memory usage down to 200 meg after SP2.

I got 80.76 fps.

I'm not sure if I am getting right performance.. can anyone fill me in?
 
You are getting the right performance :) Don't worry about that. Things will probably get even better when Valve continues to optimize the source engine.
