First of all isn't FILTER the same as AF, second of all, you can put water to reflect all with 2x 7800's I know I can, also 16xAF, still get easy frames.

What's the difference between bilinear and trilinear?

Water detail: Reflect all
Shadow detail: High
AA: x4
Filtering: Anisotropic x16

Do you think thats low for the system i have?

HL2\Cs:S is a very cpu limited game. Only 1 of your cores is working for HL2, the other is for background processes. So really thats not bad, though what you average in lets say Doom 3 should be much higher than what you average in Cs:S\Hl2.

Erm... you have fps cap? With that settings and that graphicscard, the fps would be huge... I have 9800XT and i got hmm... about 40fps when all graphics settings FULL. (edit: res: 1280x1024) I have amd athlon Xp 2600+, 1gb dualchannel in two 512 chunks and crappy cooling.... (Can frie eggs with my computer, :D , joke )

With my x850xt pe i used to get about 160fps+ average in game... everything full @1280x1024

At the moment i have a 6600GT in and i got 70fps average in the stress test... all high, 2xaa 8xaf...

tomorrow i should have 7800GT in SLi... You can guess the fps :p
