In response to the people who are having difficulties playing the game, I'm going to post my specs - it might help you determine the problem.

Please limit your postings to working systems only. No discussion if you please.

Windows XP sp2
AMD 3000XP
1GB cheapo RAM
Asus A7N8X deluxe (rev 2 board)
Nvidia 6800GT (with new forceware drivers from http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/winxp_2k_66.93 - and yes its overclocked to 148 - 1.15)
DirectX 9

AMD Athlon XP 2500+ (1.8 GHz)
512 PC2700 DDR
Asus K7N2L mobo (nForce2)
Radeon 9800 Pro 128 (which I bought over a year ago, FOR HL2)
DirectX 9.0c

Works pretty well. I haven't optimized it yet (only had a chance to peek at it before I had to head to work), so I'm running at 1024x768 with mediums across the board, I think.

Gonna have to optimize this evening.
