Im in the storm shelter and there is a tornado on the ground within 1/2 mile of my pad.

Man the wind is really blowing outside.
Im 10Ft underground with 2ft of concrete and durt overhead and 2 200LB storm doors, and I can hear the wind blow.

Well, by the sounds of that friggin' hydrogen bomb shelter you should probably be ok.

But what do I know, I live in Canada's west where we haven't had a major tornado for like 16 years.

I actually saw a Tornado once. I was at my parent's house in Lincoln, Nebraska and the sirens started going off so I went outside to check it out. Probably a mile away I saw the funnel cloud and some debris kicking up on the ground. It was one of those long skinny ones. Needless to say I didn't stick around, got down to the basement pretty quick.

I have an old toshiba that I keep in the shelter.

The power just went out and my backup will run out in a few min. So goodby till later all.

Everyone should come up to Canada where tornados are rare, and the beer is good.

Don't mind the cold though, it toughens people up IMO.

big hurricanes are fun too :x because not only are there strong winds, but its flooding at the same timeand its constant for a few days unless youre in the eye....i've gone through a few hurricanes, but i don't get many tornadoes down here
