Yeah, the aliens from the Alien series gets my vote... I do like how the Predator's heal themselves, though... it's funny.
 
well, it's either the predator or 'alien', none of the others even rate. i voted for predator b/c i think he's cooler, but i think the alien is better designed.

Its all in your definition of "cool," I suppose.

I think the alien is the "coolest" in its design and its movies (only two, Alien and Aliens. No others were made. End of story. :)) The Predator comes next, and for third its the Starship Trooper bugs.

Predator is the best. How can you go wrong with the semi-invisibility thing?
 
I would have to say predator because i think its just better....However i suppose the "Alien" alien is quite cool, but for sheer numbers and 'killability', it has to be Starship trooppers.
 
NOOOOOOOOO.... I acidentially voted for Greedo from Starwars, as I thought it was Watto, the blue flying alien Anakin "works" for. Watto should be in, instead of Greedo, he is so much cooler!

Species - Is that the one with the sex mad woman who 'does' everyone to impregnate herself? I would vote her, but i do favor the Xenomorph...

I'll go with the Xenomorph.
 
If i could add one i would add the skulk from Natural selection OR i would add the strider :)
 
Coolest alien - The Ewoks. How many aliens are chilled enough to live in tree houses yet skilled enough to defend against the Empire?

The Combine wouldn't be able to take Endor over thats for sure

(Note to self: new HL2 mod - Gordon = Ewok, Crowbar = Spear)

Yes, I think its that movie. I actually have never seen it, but I felt that I needed at least 8 choices...

the first one isn't bad actually, you should check it out. the alien (eve) isn't a bad design either.. especially when it looks like natasha henstridge :)

Alien queen. She gives birth to hundreds of headcrabs that can lie dormant for years, then suddenly burst to life near their prey. engulfing their foes, the alien horde will sweep over a facilities in seconds, exploiting the structure and sticking to the shadows.

Then, once the facility has been used to give birth to hundreds of mature, elete fighting aliens... varying from dog - bred agile scouts to strong, human bred warriors... they will once again lie dormant, basking in their victory untill someone or comething will inevitably come along...

and knowing the weak mindedness of humans, the aliens wait to lure out their prey... evacuation teams will come in one after another, and the alien queen will allow just enough people to die before she lets them escape in their puny human dropship... with a few suprises stowed away on board, of course.

and so it spreads... the alien horde, led by the impossible intelligent alien queen. she commands the armies and leads her children to victory, until all is extinguished. until the universe lies unmoving and silent. They will never advance in technology... they will never try and better themselves, because they dont need to.

they are perfect.

they are not a race, or an animal... they are a virus. spreading and spreading... there is no cure, your only hope is to hold it back... but the human race can never better the alien... because it is individual. Each person is his own... but the alien, is is a group... led by a superior commander that will never be overruled or mutinied...

Come on, guys, don't let this thread die so fast! Surely it can't be this one-sided, Aliens don't have to win!!!

But, aliens are pretty damn cool...

But so is the Predator. Man, the sequel sucked, though... although there were some good lines.

The Xenomorphs are mindless beasts with no motivation other than survival - they even turn on each other.

The Predator is a noble, intelligent warrior who lives for the thrill of the hunt and is willing to sacrifice himself rather than face a dishonorable death.
