Power Play?

I remeber a few years ago when tf2 was going to come out and everyone was happy,valve said they were going to release powerplay, a way for people with telephone cables to get connection speed of a home lan. i havnt heard anything since.
does anyone know what happened to powerplay?

I had powerplay, I was one of the first people to get it.

It was completely useless, support was crappy. There were like 5 servers up and it was laggy as **** like usual.

I got the idea that they gave up on it because it was just like any other ISP. Nothing special. I wanted my money back, I called them numerous times and bitched but they never gave me my money back. Lame :/
