So it went boom again and i take my computer 3 days ago to a store called"COMP USA" cause i have warranty on my computer. Today i get a call from the comp usa technician and the guy says he doenst know what the problem is and asks what type of "Surge Potector" i have. I didnt know what kind i had but i had it since year 2000.

He says it could be the search protectors problem and he recommened me buying a new 1. He says cost like $30 to $40.

COuld this be the problem causing my powersupply to bust?

also im looking at their site and they have some Surge protectors.

http://www.compusa.com/products/pro...All&Nty=1&D=search protector&Dx=mode matchall

My Specs:

Hmm, is there some history here...? If so, linkage?

Dirty power could cause a problem, sure.. What's the rated wattage on that PSU? Looks like you have a pretty power-hungry system there.

Yeah, I'd say your problem is your PSU isn't rated for enough Watts

get a bigger PSU! :)
