Haha, that is probably true...I pre-ordered Diablo 2 from them once, since then I have never bought a game from Best Buy. But Best Buy has the pinky demon figurine...very cool...

www.ebgames.com has the pinky demon too I think. Also you can check out gogamer.com $49.90 (never ordered from there) and i dont think it comes with a figure. I got mine from gamestop.com.

if i had the money to pre-order no doubt i would use that OVRDOOM3 code at gamestop. that's a pretty neat deal. To me, it's like paying 5 bucks extra to get it a day early and guaranteed getting it.

I went into ebgames about an hour ago, bought the Doom Collector's Edition. Took it up to the counter and the clerk asked me if I wanted to pre-order the upcoming Doom3 game. I told him I had already ordered it online. He asked where. I said Gamestop.com

There was about 2-3 seconds of silence, then he blurts out with "Yeah but they'll never ship it out on time, they usually get their games late anyway," then tried to convince me to cancel my online order and pre-order with them. It was pretty amusing.

That's funny. It's one of those scenarios you thought are only seen in movies.

gamestop is much more reliable with shipping and getting games in on time than eb is, so that kid is probably just jealous that his best friend works at gamestop and he got stuck at eb.
