Pre-ordering HL2 in the Uk... a little help please

Well, I checked out gameplay.co.uk ... but their copy is £24.99 to pre order, and the mod maker's guide that I want is £12.99, and I have exactly £35 to buy the two. Is there anywhere I could get HL2 for £20 on pre-order?

24.99 huh well i'd say you're pretty lucky, i dont know what the excahnge rate is, but here in canada i paid $79.00 for my HL2 preorder, and thats standard game price, thats not the limited edition. bleh.

by the way.. I have 56K, switch, and the thought of downloading HL2 onto the internet PC (in my house that means the bad one, filled with virises ) and then having to copy each individual file over by means of floppy disk is not an appealing one. But you didn't know my situation, so thanks anyway

Though I would reccomend spending a further 99p so you get the game on day of release!

24.99 is a good price. you wont find a game anywhere except for illigal places for less then that.

only way you will get it for 20 is to wait for it to go in the platinum range type thing

24 quid?! Must be the single player only version? I think the single + multi would be £35 rrp, like most games?
