I was just looking around for where I could get the best shipping rates for nextday air for Half-Life 2 and CompUSA is offering NextDay Air for a penny just incase anyone is interested in getting it early.......

EDIT- SHIT, i cant get it till about 4:00 pm, since i have school and the 30th is a tuesday

After Weight Training (ends at 9:50AM) I'll swing over by the mall and grab a copy. Then I have 2 1/2 hours to drive home, install it, play a bit, and get back to USF in time for my next (and last) class... but that's a lecture class on programming, so I might just skip that and play HL2. :cheese:

actually i got a really good deal. I got an Xtasy 9800pro from compusa. Its awesome, i got two $50 rebates.

The xtasy ones are actually made exactly the same as the ATi ones.

I have never orderd anything else so i dont know.

A Brand NEW frys Electronic open about 5 mins away from my COMP USA. (Frys Electronics is the Price Club or Costco of Computer/Electronics) And Frys even has a big restruant in it. It even has a Atlantis theme to it with Fish tanks and fountains (its like a nerd theme park.)

So I think the comp usa will be gone in a week or 2.

And I just got a good deal on a MSI 875P Neo-FIS2R mother Board from frys... about $200

But for the best prices, always order off the Internet.

www.newegg.com is a good site, and if you don't live in California, then it will always have the best prices because of no tax/free shipping.

Ok...heres my compUSA story....
I check their web site to see if SOCOM is in at the store by my house. You supposedly check online to see if they have it in stock. It said they have it instock at my compusa. So I go there....dont find crap on the shelves. As some guy walking around....he says, "oh...we dont carry that game". So I tell him " The website says you have it in stock". He says, let me check in back.
The asshole is gone for 30 minutes wile my mom is playing a crapy spyro demo. I go lookin for the guy and find him tryn' to talk some people to buy some horrible computer.
I confront him about his dumbness and all he says is, "i dont think we have that game".

I wanted to get a job there because I'd friggn' love to get payed to avoid people. Thats all they ever do untill they stop an easy sale.
