In my opinion the more mod makers, the more chance of us actually getting one :). So I am presenting to you mods. These are my failed projects, please do with them what you will. There are allot of them... Also if you actually do take one up, and want my help. I can model map texture code or direct music (not that cheesy computer techno, I mean composed music with violins and such. I have the means and resources to do so ;). [email protected]

||EARLY JEDI|| Singleplayer/Story involved/interesting...

Story: Including the star wars universe this mod takes the idea that somewhere on some planet far far away, there is a civilization that is in a medievil type of period. They have no ships cars space travel or lasers. But what they do have is jedi. There are force sensitive individuals who assist a kindgdoms rule. Much like the jedi and the galaxy.

Four large kingdoms that are partially allied, with the exception of one that has little known about it and is believed to be ruled by evil. One kingdom is ruled by a council of men all involved with the force. These members help rule their kingdom. Below them are the knights (heh) they are the generals of the kingdom. They are in charge of the military and training of the thousands of soldiers that make up the military. The knights train the military in the force to a certain degree, they aren't as force powerfull as the jedi seen in the star wars films because of their lack of one on one training. Their only advantage in fighting is their quick reflexes and above average strength. The council are looked at as sourcorers because of there unusual powers. And are nick named by many of the people "wizards" In this story there is a fellow named Grimaulus, more or less the main character. He is not apart of the military or apart of the kingdom in which the story takes place. He is a peasent outside of the kingdom, whom belongs to one of the tribes rebelling against the kingdom that we will call (kingdom 1, the jedi kingdom). They feel that kingdom 1 is trying to conquer the rest of the country. And don't have anywish to be apart of them. This leads them to later on join forces with the evil kingdom. In an effort to try and stop the good kingdom, kingdom 1. This is how grimaulus comes in contact with one of the council. He is captured and told the truth about both kingdoms. Because I don't want to spoil the story for anyone who might actually find time to play this... I'll send the rest to anyone who emails me wanting to use this.

Focus: The focus of this mod is to pull players into a familiar universe, while introducing completely new elements. One of the main reasons I thought of this, was that it always bothered me to see jedi blocking lasers with their light saber. Why wouldn't the storm troopers just use pistols? I would like to see a jedi block that. In this mod, the jedi can block arrows with their swords. And it leaves plenty of room for sword combat, unlike in the starwars universe where there are about two jedi. Now you can have sword combat with a large variety of enemies.

Vehicles: yes and no, horses mainly.

Combat system: The combat system is complicated enough to look realistic, but easy enough to use. The player can block a sword by right clicking and holding still, he cannot block while moving. If the player clicks the attack key in the split second the blade colide while in blocking stance. The player can send the enemies blade back, and hit the open target. Special moves are of course included. And new moves are introduced over time, through training. There are 4 types of fighting styles. One for a large group of people, mostly defensive blocking moves. 2 for one on one dueling. 3 for blocking arrows and such. And 4 for riding on horse back.These styles will switch automatically, but can be switched back with a key if the user feels he needs a different style for the specific situation.

Technology implementation: You can use the fact that the characters have the froce, to manipulate objects. You can also use the fact that it is medievil times, and the characters need to use objects around them as weapons anyways. The advanced lighting affects would help with things like lighning shooting out of an enemies fingers. However this is not supposed to be a common thing among the jedi. Only the most advanced and most powerfull.

Multiplayer: The two multiplayer modes. Duel, and fortress defence.

||Mechanical Fortress||
Mutliplayer involved/teambased/fortress defence


Story: There really isn't one... sorry

Focus: The focus of this mod is to allow players to not only defend a fortress from the opposing team. But to create it. And take advantage of the awesome physics in hl2. Now, each team members is given a giant mechwarrior type robot. The map starts and each team is given a certain amount of time to create their fortress. Using the machine they can grab from a giant junk heap of walls, bridges turrets and weapons. They have the option to stick any of these together. Each team has a golden ball. Once it is destroyed or captured, that team loses. The teams need to use their giant robots to construct a fortress that can defend around their golden ball. Each team takes turns defending their fortress after the clock stops. The opposing teams attack together against the one team whop is defending. The opposing team to capture or destroy the golden ball gets points. Depending on how quickly it is done they get more or less points. Now it is the next teams turn to defend. They defend while the other 3 or 4 teams all attack the fortress together. This cycles around untill each teams fortress has had a turn to be destroyed. All items in this mod must be destructable. That way there is no way to cheat. And make an empty room with no doors, surrounding the golden ball. When the actual fortress raid begins. No one is in a giant robot anymore. It is first person action. Everyone response back at their teams base. Which are equally spaced out. The junk heap of usable materials is in the center of these three team bases.

Weapons: The giant robots are given magnetic hands (like in half life 2 the giant magnetic beam) the actualy players that try to raid and protect the fortress are given rocket launchers. To destroy walls and the turrets that the opposing force has placed. There may be different classes of soldier that have different weapons like in bf1924... i don't know, you decide.


This is multiplayer only. You could never make bots smart enough to create a fortres.... let alone a good fortress.
