The Liszt Transcendental etudes aren't always nice sounding pieces since they were meant as finger excercices. (The Mazzepa is the fourth Transcendental etude)

Good luck to everyone who wants to learn that piece. The composer, Franz Liszt, is known to be one of the best pianists who ever lived, and he composed to show off his skills; and Berezovsky, the pianist in the video, is a world-class pro who considered to be one of the best of our times, and you saw how much trouble he had while playing.
