Some of you may remember the guy who made a 45 minute video commentary of Episode One last year. He's back, with the main game, at just under two hours!
Here's the Google Video link.

It's very insightful, making connections that even I haven't noticed, but only watch if you have a lot of time on your hands!
I love his new names for things, like Filth for the CPs and Snowmen for the Elites.
And he's not the only one who wants the Combine sniper rifle. :cheese:

Love the very end as well, what he does to Gman. ;)

Here's his Episode One commentary too:

I remember his EP1 commentary, I'll have to watch his HL2 one after school tomorrow.

Probably about as close as we'll get to Valve going back to re-add commentary to the main game, huh? I also agree with him on which is the best-made section of the game. (The Bridge)

I was lol'ing at the Barneys playing football...

I'll have to check them out when I get a chance.

A good commentary. The fellow who made it manages to keep things fresh by focussing on his own personal impressions of the game rather than things that have been remarked on a million times before.

A couple of things I noticed:

--During the montage of Father Grigori quotes, the much talked about woman's (or possibly child's) scream can be heard. Coincidence?

--The couple who suffer Combine hHarrasment at the very end of Red Letter Day are the same models as the "couch couple." In this case, probably a coincidence.

--The apparatus around the disrobed Combine soldier's midsection resembles the colostomy bag-like attachment seen on early concept drawings of the Stalkers (RtB, pg. 79). In fact, the whole model looks very much like that drawing.

Can somebody please upload it somewhere else from where I can download them from. Because I have some problem with playing videos on Google.

This was pretty amusing. A good way to get up to date in time for ep2 as well.

I wish I would have seen this thread about 90 seconds ago... I just a started a new thread highlighting the commentary. That's what I get for slow-coaching it.

I thank you all for your compliments and I am very pleased that you have enjoyed watching this as much as I enjoyed making it.
