WTF happened, I left for 1 hour and this is what happens ?

Ok, so that would explain why some rando chick(or not) would post pictures and ask other girls to do the same...and then give everyone her(his) AIM handle...

What he was planning on doing with that money...I don't wanna think about.

Ok I copied this from a post I made about 30 some odd mins ago...just a quick summary.

Deathseeker made a account called Princess_Jen...he started a thread asking for girls to post there pictures..of course everyone thought he was a girl.Then well...you probally got the idea on the girls posting pics and this forums being overwhelmed with guys.

So after about 10 pages or so...it turned into lots of funny spam.People started hoping on to the spam train and everyone was having fun...Then it started getting a little...creepy.Jen aka Deathseeker was asking for money to help him by new gfx card.Everyone at the time still thought it was a girl and someone gave him money through paypal...

Then day later after all the spam DeathSeeker reveled himself..and now here we are.Girls getting harrassed, people getting banned for there comments, and a fraud lawsuit might be at hand.

The fraud part has to do with someone giving him the money...when that part in itself is a whole other story.

They say it's automatically fraud since someone sent him money via PayPal under false pretenses (sp?) or however you put it.

All I can say, is that, he pwned us. Even thoug he needs to be legally taken care off, what a ego this guy has...

This will go not only in Halflife2.net history, but in forum history, he nearly crashed the site.

People can really be assholes. To think he tried to get away with this, can't belive anyone would be that stupid.
 
Personally I think people on these forums are to blame just as much for falling for such a stupid trick, which is usually the case with most fraud cases. Most of the time getting charged with fraud simply means exploiting people's weakness of character.

At least it'll act as a lesson to those who fell for it.

For the folks who need a female bad here is what you do when Half Life 2 comes out save that $50 and go get a damn hooker. Someone made you all look dumb get over it. How was it this person's doing so many was so hard up and dumb.

Anyway I saw this on some other forum you guys are pretty much laughing shocks now. Also WTF are you going to sue over that has got to be the ****ing dumbest thing I've ever saw on the net. Yeah you're going to spend money to get $10 back.

He got $10 and he said he would send it back if the person wanted it. I can see someone now yes sir I sent him money for a a free ****. Wait so your saying you payed for something from a so called woman. Well son you do that is is braking the law right?

Nothing is going to happen live with that fact. WEll I hope none of ya don't trash talk in HL2 online as the mod said that is harrsement it would seem.

Wow, this has been quite entertaining. I actually warned people in the original thread that this is blatently a pedo is disguise.

I hope he gets what he deserves. And I'll agree that it doesn't matter how stupid people are - if they are conned they are conned. If your gran was conned because she's a batty old hag, would you blame her?

The harassment was not ´trash talk´or just one or two insults, it was projected and continued. And if you´d bothered to actually read anything, the guy who was harassing has been banned. No legal action involved there.

And the other guy, well, it´s not going to cost us anything.
