I've just got done watching the newest episode *3* and my god, it's great! Good acting all though it. The story is pretty damn good as well. ALl in all, I've not been this excited to watch a next episode of a show since Smallville. Anybody else seen this?
 
i watched the first 2 episodes (i believe one was a pilot) and i must say, i was suprised. the promotions they ran for it made it look awful, but i decided to give it a chance because i love prison breaks in general. it turned out to be much better than i thought it would and hopefully i dont fall too far behind and miss out on the plot.

The newest episode *not sure of number, just came out tonight* ..was amazing. Granted, I'm a little pissed because it left you wanting so much more. You're so confused right now. Granted you can probably tell what's going to happen, but HOW is the hard part. Riots, shankings-to-be....it's all there!....ahhhh
 
I'll bite.

Yeah I've seen all the episodes so far and I'm really enjoying it. It's a very clever show, but I'm curious of one thing... the first series is gonna concentrate on him getting his brother out of prison, right? What about series 2? I also don't like the fact that it's probably gonna take 1 whole season for the prison break to occur because it makes the show move at a snails pace (abeit with interesting stuff happening inbetween like the riot).

I think the idea of him having all this stuff on his body is clever, but when he told his bro and the lines just started appearing out of nowhere on the tats I thort "psshk!"

Some really strong likable charachters in the show (the warden, lincoln, fernando), but there are also some cliched charachters.
 
Craig I'm not sure, but I read on several websites that Prison Break is gonna be just one season so by episode 24 they'll be out or dead.
 
Sounds good to me, but dont networks usually try to milk shows dry? and if this show is a success won't they try to do the same? Once they do break out they'll no doubt spend half a dozen series trying to clear his brothers name (like Reno Reines did... anyone remember him?) and possibly rename the show
 
Is it just me, or does the main character have simply too much confidence? I mean, he walks around as if he knows exactly whats going to happen, so he doesn't sweat it when he has all these violent people around him, and acts condescending all the time like he somehow knows he's not going to die <chuckles>
 
Yeah he does that, I think it's meant to be that way so we understand that his character is fronting to seem tough in the eyes of the other cons. You see what I mean?
 
If he didn't act like that, he would end up like that poor kid from the last episode, a human peanut dish.
 
Yeah he does seem overly confident, but I think that's nessecary. Kinda ironic how many Brits are putting on fake American accents on US network television nowadays I think.

Ehh. People do it all the time. Americans put on fake british accents when they portray the parts of british people, too :-P

Maybe ironic was a silly choice of words... I just meant it's _strange_. Take 'House' for example who is played by Hugh Laurie. I mean is it really nessecary for that charachter to be American? The guy who plays Lincoln Burrows does a very good American accent (as does the actor who plays his brother (again British)), but I think Hugh Lauries accent sucks.
 
Yeah, I'm sure it will be one season long. Wouldn't make sense to be 2 seasons. And I think the show is moving really slow, but still, it keeps you entertained. Not like some reality TV shows nowadays..*hurl*

And the whole goverment thing that keeps going on keeps you wanting more!

She'll probably keep quiet because not only does she have a crush on him, and he just saved her from a bunch of murdering rapists. She'll probably ask him some more questions in the next episode, just to let him know that she knows... you know that thing women do? :laugh:

Hey, I haven't posted in awhile but I enjoy Prison Break. Anyways, why would he show the doctor what he did? Wouldn't that jeopardize everything? In real life, a man trying to break his brother out of prison wouldn't risk anyone knowing about his plan that didn't absolutely need to.

Kind of outrageous.
 
Well I think she qualifies on needing to know how to get out of that sickbay considering all those raving loonies were trying to get to her.

Good episode overall I thought, but the stuffed cat made me rofl and the big reveal of the VP at the end just made me sigh.

Wait..it's out? Last night was monday, I thought it was shown on Tuesday?
 
Well I thought it aired on mondays because I download the Prison Break torrents on tuesday and with the time zone thing it comes to monday night in the US normally. We don't get HBO in frogland :(
 
The only reason Fox had Prison Break was to fill up a time slot.
24 is coming!

Which means that the last 9 nine episodes of Prison Break won't be showing until...May.

24 is okay. I've watched the first 2 series over the last few weeks and it's entertaining enough. One thing I did notice though is it's a big build up in each series till about episode 18 and then 19 - 24 just feel like 'filler episodes'. Like they ran out of story so they just fill those final hours up with other shit.

Prizon break pwnz. I liked the fact that those 2 dumb-ass agents got pwned by the kid who left the phone on the bus... but if the kid could afford 2 bus tickets why didn't he buy some damn shoes instead of stealing them.

I'm a new fan of this show. I've just finished watching episode 5 and the prison break is starting to get rolling.

There's some good acting in this, and the nurse is TEH HAWT LOLSZ. Ahem.

I just watched 11. Boy, good episode. Although the whole Scofield and Sarah thing going on sucks...they just need to escape together, and end this melodrama "You're married?" shit :(

PS who do you thinks gonna be the one to back down from the escape?
 
It definately is no better than Arrested Development. However, dumb Americans seem to think that even reruns of this show are.

Yeah, very cool episode. I liked how the two secret agent dudes just left the guy down the well. He deserved that, but didn't he have his phone and would be able to contact someone else?

I don't know who'll be kicked out of the escape. They need the 2 brothers, the guy with the money and the guy who hooks them up with the runway. The rest can all be booted.

I guess that means the black guy, the gay guy or the Puerto Rican guy. I reckon it'll be the Puerto Rican guy since he doesn't have so long to get out.

If you were listening to the conversation with the mystery agent and those two secret agents you'd have heard them say they were tracking his phone via GPRS before the battery ran dead (or words to that effect), hence the reason why he won't be leaving that well any time soon.

If I had to take a stab at who won't be one of the escapees I'd say it's probaly gonna be the black guy, just for the simple fact that he knows the least out of all of them, is a late comer, and doesn't bring anything to the table.

As heinous as T-Bags crimes are I quite like the charachter and the way he antagonises everyone else.. makes things more interesting.
 
I vote it will be the black guy. he is the most worthless in the entire thing. At least T-Bag is funny.

and apparently there are going to be 13 episodes they are deciding if they are going to move to a different time slot, drop that show until may, or what. 13 episodes!? That must mean they get out, and try to bust the VP maybe? Because there are only 4 more days until the escape.

How many episodes until Michael lets in Sarah into his little "secret"? :D
 
hey ive watched all of them after the one where there was a big riot. Which ones am i missing out on, ive seen like 6 or so so far(I think)
