Hey, this model is just modelling from a concept for Ghost Ops: The Avalon Project. It's an HL mod, but they're going to make Ghost Ops 2 for HL2, if they want this model then I'll probably add more detail. The leader of the mod once asked me if I could do player stuff and I couldn't, but this was just for fun. Currently it stands at 5000 polies, very unoptimized. The first is a render I took when I finished it, then I made adjustments and that's what the second picture is. In the second picture there's a helmet, it's just a work in progress so it looks pretty bad at the moment. I'm posting this from my vacation in London right now so I can't do anything. Well, here are the pics:

I'm curious... how many polys? cuz they are not so detailed but hey! Great Models! :thumbs:
 
I have a question what technique do you use because im trying to learn how to model people and its really tough.

very nice model it appears to be very clean can u show me a wireframe render?
its nice and well proportioned
just hope u make a new head model or decide to use one of the heads that come with hl2 because there is no mouth on that soldier .
(sometimes i think hl lies about thier poly count the range should be higher if thier models have a full detailed body plus a head with alips and teeeth hmmmm)
 
More detail.. yes.. more details and bumps and stuff..
