problem since tonights update 2/24/05

anyway im having a really strrange problem with hl2dm

i was able to play earlier today, but when i loaded it tonight there was an update wihch i dl and installed.

now whenever i try to connect to a server i get booted back to the main menu the first time, and the second time i try hl2dm freezes and i have to hard reset my comp.

anyone having similar problems?

Yes, I get the same ****ing problem, thank god it's just not me, the same symptoms, except the time it crashes I get this error message:

GetDynamicBaseline:FindStringIndex(45) failed.

now that they are updating its fine

That happened to me also, but it's working fine now.

I've made it a rule of thumb to not play for a few hours after the updates are released to avoid such issues... :dork:
