Problem, very weird. Read plz.

I just built my comp, everything is working very good.

I installed HL2/CSS from the collectors edition of hl2. Tryed running source and as soon as it gets to the loading screen on the main menu it goes back to desktop.
I tryed running HL2 and it gets to the loading screen, stays there for a few secs then crashes. Anyone know what my problem might be.

ALL DRIVERS are updated.

What card you running? nVidia or ATI? I really don't know what's causing it, but my first guess was it would be drivers. But you said they're updated.

7800GTX. Fully updated

Problem fixed. This was the 1st time i built a pc and i forgot the chipset drivers for the mobo. :/
